USA 1996:
When we first met this company's international management team in Southeast USA in 1996 they wanted to work with an innovative European based fulfillment company that could support their European growth, and an expanding product catalogue, new and existing sales channels, and new ones they might add.
With such a premium product with a high price tag their challenge was to be able to supply warranty support and basketball systems spare parts and accessories to their customers, retailers and distributors in fourteen European countries within a reasonable time period and at an acceptable cost.
This required storage and inventory management of over 18,000 different SKU parts to support in excess of 135 models available in the various markets.
TODAY:
Today, the company is fulfilling direct-to-consumer ecommerce orders and B2B retail orders through a variety of sales channels and the recent Covid 19 restrictions has seen an increase in sales of Basketball systems across Europe resulting in a 300% increase in outbound and inbound orders in 2020.
Our 3pl Central WMS is of particular value to the team, providing a single-click view of all their inventory levels and order information. This, combined with intuitive order routing and rating logic, enables cost savings on transportation and fast shipping to end-customers.
